"Serving Those Who Served" was developed by students at Roman Catholic High School with the goal of supporting veterans in Philadelphia through a series of service-based endeavors. Recognizing that veterans are often faced with mental health challenges and a lack of recognition, "Serving Those Who Served" aimed to provide both direct support and public acknowledgment.

The students made and donated sandwiches for homeless veterans on three separate occasions, provided care packages, and hosted a well-attended Veterans Day assembly that honored a Roman Catholic alumnus who served. Additionally, the students organized a Christmas party for women veterans and their families, bringing joy to more than 50 people. Their efforts brought hope, light, and happiness to the veterans, many of whom expressed that they had never received such high-level care before.
